What are the common faults of transformers？

The common faults of transformers in operation include winding, casing and tap-changer, iron core, oil tank, and other accessories.

1. The winding is faulty

There are mainly inter-turn short circuits, winding grounding, interphase short circuits, wire breaking, and joint opening welding.

2. The casing is faulty

3. Severe leakage

Transformer operation leakage oil is serious or continuous leakage from the damaged area so that the oil level meter can not see the oil level, at this time should immediately stop the transformer for leakage and refueling, causing the transformer oil leakage cause weld cracking or seal failure, the operation by external shock and serious corrosion of the tank and other damage.
